ABOUT

websiteCelebrating the influence of British artists in America, the West Coast Chapter of The University of the Arts London Alumni Association presents The Journey (It’s OK To Go To Art School). An exhibition comparing works created by alumni while in attendance at the university with works from their current practice.

The exhibition will be held at L.A. Mart in downtown Los Angeles in conjunction with BritWeek.

With funding for the arts in jeopardy across the globe it has never been more important to continue to define the validity to an education in the arts. Ensuring the next generation of artists will have the opportunity to carve out their own means of expression and continue to define and redefine a culture of creators.

Dates: April 22 – May 5, 2013

VIP Reception: April 28 ( By Invitation Only)
